PRESS KIT 2018 BIO
California-based singer/songwriter Lisa Mychols is defined by her unique voice and coalescent sounds of garage sunshine, indie pop, mod, and psychedelic pop/rock. A self-taught musician with immense passion for expression through vocal harmonies, it led to her singing on various demos for Darian Sahanaja of The Wondermints.
With a strong drive for carving a "now" sound of California girl powerpop, Lisa collaborated with Sahanaja and Nick Walusko for the album ‘Lost Winters Dream’, a blend of winter themed melancholy tunes. Her past releases include solo albums, ‘In This City’ and ‘Sweet Sinsations’.
She joined forces with The Masticators on ‘Masticate’, and gal-duo Nushu for ‘Nevermind Lullibye’. Her long awaited release; the follow up to her album ‘Above, Beyond & In Between’ is currently in the planning process alongside co-writer Steve Refling.
Lisa has in store, lots of new upcoming music bringing her refreshingly new musical vibe, and other surprises taking her crowd connectedness to the next level.
